Naumburg's "Zur Henne" restaurant and hotel is situated just outside the small cathedral town on the banks of the river Saale, in the picturesque neighbourhood Henne. 29 individually furnished rooms await you in the family-run hotel. The service and comfort provided by the hotel represents the benchmark for not only the Naumburg area. In the evenings, you can unwind by having cocktails at the hotel bar, and a stroll into Naumburg?s vineyards is also very much recommended.
The hotel keeps a stable of horses ready for their guests, and offers rides to Naumburg and through its surroundings. Our partners Saale-Unstrut-Tours, located directly in Naumburg?s Blütengrund (an especially idyllic part of the city), are able to offer special hiking, cycling and canoeing trips to our guests so that they can discover the most appealing river scenery of central Germany.
Just across from the hotel, you will find Naumburg?s wine and champagne manufactory. There, you can taste the high-quality Saale-Unstrut wines for which Naumburg is so well-known. There are 22 Saale-Unstrut wines on the wine menu of our hotel alone for you to choose from!
The city of Naumburg has a lot to offer to its visitors, both in cultural and outdoor activities. Our hotel has its own bicycle rental service, so that our guest can explore the sights of Naumburg and its surroundings at their leisure. We very much recommend the ride to Naumburg cathedral!
The "Alte Hennenbrauerei" ("Old Henne brewery") - restaurant and hotel
The "Alte Hennenbrauerei" was built in 1889, just outside the cathedral town Naumburg on the edges of the town's vineyards. Fine beers and ales were brewed here until the 1950s, from which point on the building served as a bottling site for "Doppelkaramell-Bier" and "Hennebräu".
The brewery and inn, which had been famous for its hunting room, closed in 1990. After 16 years of deep sleep, and following a period of extensive renovations, the restaurant and hotel "Zur Henne" opened its doors on 12 August 2005.

Take a trip to the small champagne and wine town Freyburg an der Unstrut. Enjoy delicious wines and bubbly champagne from the famous "Rotkäppchen" champagne cellars or the Naumburg wine and champagne manufactory. Visit the "Luisensitz", queen Luise's residence during her stay in Naumburg.
In the summer months, you are invited to our rustic beer garden to enjoy a barbecue and the wines and beers of the region.
